Practice Policy

These policies help our practice provide safe, consistent, and high-quality care. By scheduling an appointment with Healing Realm Psychiatry & Wellness, PLLC, you agree to the following:

Appointments & payment

Payment is due in full one day before your scheduled appointment. We accept credit card and cash. Superbills are available on request for self-pay clients seeking possible reimbursement from their insurance.

Cancellations & no-shows

Please give at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Missed appointments and late cancellations may be subject to the full session fee.

Telehealth safety

Your safety is our top priority. Clients cannot be seen while driving. Please do not join appointments while operating a vehicle. Make sure you are in a private, safe location with reliable internet access.

Medication & refills

Follow-up appointments are required at least every 3 months for medication maintenance and refills. Please request refills at least 5 business days in advance. We do not prescribe controlled substances outside of an established treatment plan.

Accommodation, disability & FMLA forms

We provide accommodation letters, disability forms, and FMLA forms only to established, long-term patients who have been in active treatment with us for at least 6 months. No exceptions. Disability paperwork carries a $200 fee, paid in advance, and is not covered by insurance.

Communication

Non-urgent messages may be sent through your patient portal or by calling (972) 972-4247. For any psychiatric emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Department. You may also call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, available 24/7.

Scope of care

We currently serve adolescents 13+ and adults across Texas by telehealth. We do not provide inpatient care, crisis intervention, or 24/7 emergency services.
