Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, or another mental health condition that keeps you from living a full, independent life? With help from our licensed, certified provider, you and your family can gain the tools and guidance to overcome your challenges. We'll be with you every step of the way.
🧠

Psychiatry Diagnosis

The first step is often the hardest. We provide a comprehensive psychiatric diagnosis and assessment to help you begin your journey to wellness. Esther gathers the information needed to identify any mental health, emotional, or behavioral conditions and creates a treatment plan tailored to you. We provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for adolescents 13 and older and adults.

Psychiatric Evaluation

A comprehensive diagnostic assessment and treatment recommendations. We gather detailed information about your symptoms, behaviors, medical history, substance use, and past psychiatric history and medications. Lab work may be ordered to rule out underlying issues, and genetic testing may be recommended to understand how your body responds to psychotropic medications. The initial visit runs 60 to 70 minutes so we can take a thorough history and diagnose accurately. Please come prepared with your history. Afterward, Esther will provide a diagnosis and treatment plan β€” which may include medication, psychotherapy, behavioral intervention, or other recommended approaches.

Medication Management & Follow-Up

Medication management helps individuals cope with mental illness. Your provider will discuss the goals, risks, benefits, and purpose of each medication. Follow-up appointments run 20 to 30 minutes and occur every 2 weeks to every 3 months, depending on your treatment. If you are receiving medication, follow-ups are required at least every 3 months for maintenance and refills. Follow-ups include monitoring progress, refilling medications, and adjusting your plan as needed.

Pharmacogenetic (GeneSight) Testing

We offer the GeneSight psychotropic test, which analyzes how your genes may affect your response to medications commonly prescribed for anxiety, ADHD, and other conditions. It gives your clinician information about which medications may need dose adjustments or may carry a higher risk of side effects based on your genetic profile. Ask your provider for more information.
